Introduction
After an excellent Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and one of the best films of 2019, Marvels Spider-Man: Far From Home, it was crazy to think that Holland could have a third film in the MCU. I thought that he would have ended up leaving after that like Tobey Maguire, but Sony and Disney made it work and now we have a new trailer for what seems to be one of the best films of 2021. In this review we will discuss everything you need to know about this movie.
Even though Tom Holland has been here for 4 years, the feeling of Spider-Man not belonging in the MCU still exists.
Even though Tom Holland has been here for 4 years, the feeling of Spider-Man not belonging in the MCU still exists.
Perhaps it’s because he doesn’t have the same feel as other characters who have been onscreen for a decade or more. He doesn’t seem to be part of a grander universe, but rather living in his own little world that shares only some similarities with other movies and TV shows. This is what makes him unique and special; he is not bound by an overall story arc or direction like many other heroes are (and thank goodness).
However, this also means that there are some aspects that don’t fit perfectly within Sony’s vision of their standalone Spidey film series—like how they handwave away how Vulture got his wings back after being shot down by Spider-Man at the end of Homecoming.
One of the great problems of this film is that Sam Raimi doesnt know how to make a film without Tobey Maguire.
Unlike the original Spider-Man, Raimi’s latest outing feels like a remake of the first film. The story doesn’t feel fresh, and it suffers from pacing issues that could have been easily fixed.
The film is too long (2 hours and 20 minutes), too slow, too serious, and doesn’t have enough humor or action to engage viewers for such a long period of time. There are also times when it feels like this movie should be played at half speed because it moves so slowly that you can’t help but wonder if you missed some crucial plot point somewhere along the way.
Zendaya’s character, although she has many funny moments and is almost always in absurd situations, ends up being one of the best characters in the film.
Zendaya’s character, although she has many funny moments and is almost always in absurd situations, ends up being one of the best characters in the film. Her humor is similar to that of Spider-Man (Tom Holland), but it has a more sarcastic tone. Zendaya also has an interesting back story that involves her father’s death. While some may not find this moment to be very important since it came at a point where I was losing interest in the movie, I thought it added depth to her character and made me want to see more from her.
With special mention to Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds who stands out for his constant humor.
The movie also has a great supporting cast, with special mention to Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. He stands out for his constant humor and some really fun interactions with Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man). This is especially true in the scene where he meets Mary Jane Watson (Zendaya), who seems like a potential love interest for our hero.
It’s good that these characters have so much personality because they are all given plenty of screen time. They are not just there to support Spidey—they each get their own story arc that helps build up the overall plotline of the movie. Even though it can be hard to keep track of everything going on at times, I had no problem keeping track of which character was being introduced or developed at any given point in time because there was always something interesting happening with them!
The villain is interesting but could have been better. The character had much more potential than what we saw in the film.
While the villain is interesting, she also could have been better. The character had much more potential than what we saw in the film. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t want to spoil anything so I won’t go into any details about her and her motives but just know that she doesn’t live up to her potential. This is not surprising because Marvel Studios has struggled with writing interesting villains for their films lately (the ones from Black Panther and Ant-Man & Wasp come to mind).
In addition, this villain is not as interesting as either of the two villains from Spiderman movies 1 or 2 respectively.
J.K Simmons returning as J Jonah Jameson is one of the highlights of this movie.
J Jonah Jameson is one of the highlights of this movie. J Jonah Jameson is a great character, and he’s been around for nearly 70 years now. He’s had many different portrayals over the years, but in this film he brings so much humor to his role as a news reporter. It is also impressive that with all of these changes going on within Spider-Man, they still keep his relationship with J Jonah Jameson intact, which makes sense because it’s one of the most important things about him!
Spiderman no way home review
Spiderman no way home is an entertaining film that is not as good as the previous ones. The film has many moments of humor that make it a good movie to watch with friends. The villains are not as good as they could be, but they are not bad either.
The plot of this movie is pretty generic, but it works well enough when viewed through the lens of a superhero movie. It delivers what we expect from these kinds of films: action, comedy and drama all wrapped up in one package. However, there isn’t anything new here or at least nothing that hasn’t been done before by other Marvel films like Iron Man or Captain America: Winter Soldier (or even X-Men). Still if you’re looking for something fun and lighthearted then Spiderman no way home will definitely satisfy your needs!
Conclusion
Spider-Man No Way Home is a great film. I would give it a 8.5/10 . Its not perfect but its still entertaining and worth to watch in theaters
Conclusion
This film is exciting, despite all its flaws, it keeps you in suspense and as a fan of the MCU I enjoyed it. I hope this review was helpful to you.
Conclusion
I hope this review helps you to get an idea of the film. It may not be the best Spider-Man movie of all time but it is still a good film that I highly recommend watching. The way in which the story unfolds constantly surprises you and this is one of its main strengths. A personal recommendation would be for you to watch Spider-Man 2 immediately afterwards and then watch Spider-Man 3, if only for 30 minutes because it is really bad. Zendaya’s character, although she has many funny moments and is almost always in absurd situations, ends up being one of the best characters in the film.
