If you live in a big city, you know that food delivery apps are a godsend. They can allow us to stay inside and avoid the cold and rain while getting delicious meals delivered right to our doorsteps. There are so many options out there now that it can be hard to decide which one is right for you. I did some research to find the best ones in different categories so you don’t have to!

Uber Eats

You’ve heard of Uber, right? The ride-sharing service that’s revolutionized transportation. But did you know it also has a food delivery app called Uber Eats? With the same ease and convenience as ordering a car, you can place an order with your favorite restaurants using this app.

Uber Eats is available in over 500 cities worldwide. In the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan—to name a few—you can use the app to order food from local restaurants with just a few taps on your phone. The UK and Mexico are also part of this list too!

DoorDash

If you’ve ever wanted to order food from your phone, DoorDash is the app for you. It’s available in over 1000 cities and in over 700,000 restaurants, which means that no matter where you are or what kind of craving strikes, there will be a restaurant on the app that can take care of it.

The app makes ordering food as easy as possible by letting users choose their favorite places and then providing them with a list of menu items they can order without having to go back into each restaurant website. As an added bonus, if there are multiple locations for any given restaurant (like Chipotle), users can select which one they want their food delivered from before completing their order through DoorDash.

GrubHub

GrubHub is a food delivery app that allows you to order food from restaurants in your area. You can pay using the app or a credit card. If you don’t want to pay through the app, there are also other options available for payment. The GrubHub website says, “Our seamless checkout process is simple and convenient for everyone—and it’s just as fast as ordering through any other digital platform!”

You can also use the GrubHub website or app to track your delivery if it hasn’t been delivered yet. The company offers some tips on how to use the tracking feature: “We’ll notify you when it’s on its way with real-time updates so that you know exactly what’s going on with your order at all times.”

Postmates

Postmates is a delivery app that delivers food, groceries, and other items. It can bring you a sandwich from Subway or some ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. Postmates is available in over 500 cities and has been praised as one of the best ways to get food delivered straight to your door.

It’s easy enough to use: just open the app and search for what you want from one of their local partners like Chipotle or Starbucks. Once you’ve selected your items, enter your address and payment information (or use Apple Pay), confirm your order and then relax until it arrives at your door step!

Seamless

Seamless is a food delivery app that allows you to order from more than 200,000 restaurants in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. It’s available on Android and iOS devices.

Seamless was launched in New York City in 2004 by Noah Glass and Matt Maloney (who eventually went on to found GrubHub). The company was originally named SeamlessWeb until it was acquired by Groupon for $134 million in July 2011. Seamless was then purchased by Zomato for $200 million in April 2018.

Deliveroo

Deliveroo is a British online food delivery service. It was founded in 2013 and currently operates in over 200 cities across 12 countries.

During its first year of operation, Deliveroo was widely criticised for its methods of recruiting riders who were paid less than minimum wage and did not have access to sick pay or benefits.[6] In response to this criticism, Deliveroo introduced an optional insurance policy that covers illness, injury and maternity leave for all contracted riders from January 2014 onwards.[7]

Zomato

Zomato is a restaurant discovery and delivery app. It has over 1.2 million restaurants in over 100 cities. The app offers a rating system for restaurants, and you can search for specific food types, cuisines and locations to find what you’re looking for. You can also create lists of your favorite restaurants if you’re always on the go or if you live far away from everything else like us here at Zomato!

Caviar

If you want to impress your friends with the best of the best, Caviar is the delivery service of choice for many of the world’s most exclusive restaurants. The app offers customers access to menus from top-rated restaurants that are not normally available to dine in, making it an ideal choice for those who want to try something new without leaving their homes.

Caviar is a delivery app that delivers food from the best restaurants in your city. It has been around since 2013 and has since expanded into more than 200 cities worldwide, offering users access to an extensive list of eateries including Michelin-starred establishments. Since its founding by former Goldman Sachs executives Max Levchin and Tony Xu, Caviar has become famous for its delivery reliability and customer service—something that sets it apart from other food delivery apps on this list.

Freshly

Freshly is a food delivery app that delivers fresh food from local restaurants. The company began operating in San Francisco and Los Angeles on August 19, 2018. It’s a delivery-only service, so you can’t pick up your order at the restaurant.

Freshly was created to help busy people get their hands on good meals without having to cook them themselves. That said, Freshly does have some drawbacks: it only works within the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles area; the menu options are limited compared to other food delivery apps; and if you want something specific or unique (such as vegan or gluten-free), then this isn’t necessarily going to be your number one choice.

Just Eat

Just Eat is a food delivery app that lets you order from the following restaurants:

  • Pizza Hut
  • Domino’s
  • Papa John’s
  • Pizza Express

The cost of delivery will vary based on your location and the restaurant you choose to order from. You can also use Just Eat to order from local takeaway places in your area. You’ll find these listed under “Nearby Takeaways.” The app does not currently offer user reviews for individual restaurants or dishes; however, it does have an overall rating for each place (given by customers who have rated their experience on the app).

When ordering from Just Eat, you’re able to filter options based on different criteria such as what time they are open, price range, type of cuisine offered (e.g., Italian), distance away from where you live/work/are visiting etc., so if there’s one place nearby offering exactly what you’re looking for then this should be easy enough!

Swiggy

Swiggy is a food delivery service available in multiple countries, including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The app is also available in Dubai and Saudi Arabia for residents of those areas. It’s similar to other services like Uber Eats and Amazon Restaurants—you can order food from local restaurants or chains like Pizza Hut through the Swiggy app on your phone.

These delivery apps will make your life so much easier.

There are many factors to consider when choosing the right food delivery app for you. Which one has the best delivery service? Which one has the best customer service? Some of these apps have special features that can make your life much easier. In this article, we’ll explore why each app is worth using and how they compare to each other.

We’ll start with Grubhub, a popular choice among customers who order from restaurants in major cities. It offers more than 80,000 restaurants in over 1,100 cities across Canada and the United States—all at the click of a button! The only downside is that it doesn’t work with some smaller chains or local businesses (just big chain restaurants). You also don’t have any control over what order goes out first or last on busy days; Grubhub decides this so that all orders are delivered within 30 minutes or less.*

Next up: Caviar—this one isn’t just good for ordering food from restaurants; it’s also great for buying groceries online.* It lets people use their smartphones or computers to browse through thousands of products available at grocery stores near them before placing an order directly through their device.* This means fewer trips back-and-forth between stores because everything will be delivered straight from where you’re standing now instead!

Conclusion

There you have it. The 11 best food delivery apps that will make your life so much easier. If you are still struggling to find the right service, we recommend trying out multiple services to find out which one works best for you.
